Our mission is to promote peace and reduce violence through collaboration in immigrant & system-impacted communities in Los Angeles & their countries of origin by empowering new immigrant leaders to become advocates for justice & equality
Projects Include:
Youth Development Project for Teens and Transition Age Youth (TAY), prioritizing those impacted by incarceration. It offers enrichment opportunities for youth and their families.
Community Response Initiative (CRI) has reduced food insecurity by coordinating free grocery distributions in communities plagued by poverty and violence.
Epiphany Project supports the successful reentry of those returning home from incarceration and prevents high risk behavior amongst youth and adults impacted by the justice system.
Tattoo Removal is subsidized for participants of the Epiphany Project, We subsidize the entire cost for those incarcerated within the last 12 months or those with ongoing court proceedings.
Libertad con Dignidad is our prisoner support project, providing parole board preparation services
CAPRIL (Comite de Apoyo a Privados de Libertad or Committee in Support of Incarcerated Communities) is our Advocacy arm.
