FAM is an inter-faith charitable non-profit alliance that provides a variety of services to its clients to support their journey to independence:
Food Distribution:Monday–Friday 10am–2:45pm
Flexible Housing Solutions include
Emergency Family Shelter: FAMily House for parents(including fathers) and their children (with at least one child aged 0-5), and pregnant women
Shelter: Gilchrist House for women and mothers with children
Permanent Supportive Housing: Provides assistance to previously unhoused people with disabilities.
Rental assistance: Help with obtaining rental vouchers for very low-income families, people who are currently at risk of becoming unhoused or a victim of domestic violence.
Homeward Bound Program: Program to reunite clients with supportive family and friends.
Food & Personal Care Items: Blessing bags for unhoused clients with non-perishable food, drinks and hygiene items.; Personal Care and hygiene- baby diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene items, kitchen supplies, and pet food when available; Holiday Programs- around Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Our housed clients receive fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, bread, shelf-stable items, dairy, eggs, refrigerated deli items & frozen protein. Apply online to become a client.
