Advocates for Justice in Orange and Los Angeles Counties, we provide support and services to help people who are struggling with Civil legal issues. Areas of law where we may be able to help: Family, Housing, Consumer Defense, Public Benefits, Health, Immigration, Seniors, Systemic Impact and Domestic Violence. Our attorneys and staff provide evaluation, advice, and counsel.
Hotline hours: Mon-Thurs 9:30am-2:30pm and Fri 9am-12pm. The hotline is open for Seniors Mon-Thurs 9am.-6pm and Fri 9am-12pm
We also offer opportunities for learning at our clinics, workshops, and Self-Help Centers, provide direct representation on a case-by-case basis, and engage in impact litigation and policy advocacy on issues that affect our community.
We provide assistance to residents of Orange County and the following cities in Southeast Los Angeles County: Artesia, Bell, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Carson (some areas), Cerritos, Compton, Cudahy, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, Hollydale, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Norwalk, Paramount, South Gate, Walnut Park and Willowbrook.
Generally, clients must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.
