HIS empowers the homeless and working poor to achieve self-sufficiency by providing support services including shelter, transitional housing, food, job placement, advocacy, childcare, education, and life-skills training.
To be eligible for services, you must be homeless or working poor, or a Senior in need.
The Family Resource Center (FRC) is the point of entry for all services. Walk-ins accepted. A Case Advocate works one-on-one with clients to provide guidance and referrals for housing, job placement, public benefits, medical services and other support services, including one-time rental assistance and help with utilities.
Food Pantry: clients can receive a 3 day supply of groceries, donated clothing, diapers and hygiene items.
